Reimagining Education: A Snapshot of the Edutainment Festival by Wonderfed at The Presidency International School
A Wonderfed x Presidency collaboration
In a world where education often rushes ahead, focused on grades, checklists and outcomes, we took a moment to slow down and reflect.
This past November, the Presidency campus transformed into something unexpected: an edutainment festival that was part playground, part thought-lab, and part quiet rebellion.
At the heart of it was the Funlearn approach by Wonderfed – a way of thinking that sees education not just as instruction, but as nourishment. The festival set out to reignite the emotional, sensory, and imaginative spark in learning to remind us that the most powerful learning happens when curiosity leads.
A Festival of Possibility

The process did not begin with fixed answers. Instead, it began with a million questions.
Over several weeks, The Presidency’s teachers and students, under the guidance of Wonderfed, collaborated to reimagine how subjects could be experienced not only taught. Economics took the shape of stories and games. Biology explored empathy and interdependence. Geography moved beyond maps to include bodies, movement, and inner landscapes.
What unfolded was a space where disciplines blended and where fun became a medium for deep thinking rather than a distraction from it.
What It Felt Like
What stayed with us was not only the creativity but the way students engaged, without the usual pressure to get everything “right.”
Without the weight of perfection, something shifted. Even the quieter students — the ones who often hesitate to raise their hands were eager to try, to add, to contribute. Many wanted to keep building on their exhibits even after they were set up. Ideas felt fluid, evolving. Ownership replaced hesitation.
Parents were drawn in not just by what was made, but by how children talked about it — with confidence, curiosity, and care. Teachers watched with quiet pride, noticing students show up in ways that don’t always surface in a regular classroom setting.
The festival offered something rare: space for experimentation that felt safe, joyful, and real.
What is Wonderfed?
Wonderfed isn’t just a product, curriculum, or venture- it’s a way of thinking.
It was founded by Gunasees Juneja, the school’s Creative Director, Wonderfed remains deeply rooted in the Funlearn approach and invites both kids and adults to reimagine learning in new and playful ways.
From immersive workshops to playful tools, from interdisciplinary provocations to laughter-filled games, Wonderfed is building carefully and intentionally. The festival was just one expression of a broader vision — one that places curiosity, emotion, and design at the heart of learning.
A Quiet Shift, A Lasting Impact
In the days that followed, there was a noticeable shift in how students reflected on their work. There was pride in the process, in the choices they made, in the ideas they shaped. Conversations continued beyond the festival. Classrooms held a renewed sense of possibility.
Parents shared that their children remained engaged with the questions and experiences long after the event ended. Teachers found themselves rethinking what a subject could hold and how learning environments could invite more active exploration.
It didn’t feel like a one-time spark. It felt like the beginning of a new future of learning— one that could evolve, deepen, and endure.
